Describing Adetomiwa Adebawore as a freak of nature doesn’t even do justice to how dominant of an athlete he is. At the combine, Adebowore weighing in at 282 lbs, put up absurd numbers: 4.49 40, 1.61 ten-yard, 125″ board, and 27 bench reps. As he’s listed as a Defensive Tackle, his speed is literally beyond what is possible for my scale. In reality, his grade should be even a bit higher. He’s a guy who’s started many games at Northwestern and has shown satisfying year-to-year improvement. His size and athletism give him the upside to be a dominant pass-rusher. It’ll be fascinating to see where he lands and how he’s used in the pros.
Two all-22 games, two broadcast games, and his highlights were evaluated. This scouting report includes grades on all relevant traits which were based on his film. His scouting report also factored in stats and analytics, such as PFF grades. We also break down his traits through clip analysis. In the clip above, Adebawore is lined up over the TE and does an incredible job of forcing a run stop. He gets excellent leverage and disengages very quickly.
Here he comes up with a massive tackle for loss against an outside zone run. He quickly recognizes it’s going to the outside and, with phenomenal quickness, beats his guy to the gap. This is a great demonstration of his quickness and hot motor.
In this one, playing three-tech, he gets a nasty bull rush that forces C.J. Stroud to move in the pocket. The get-off and raw power he shows here are tremendous.

Final Conclusion
Adetomiwa Adebawore is a fascinating tweener project worth risking in the top 40 of the draft. His god-given tools are just too good to pass up on in that range. While he’s not a true EDGE or DT, he has what it takes to be a star player in the proper role. It just largely depends on how he’s deployed, but nonetheless, he’s a guy to watch for come draft day.
