Player Notes

Devonte Wyatt Bio

  • Wyatt is a pass rushing specialist on the inside who relies on his get-off and foot quickness to beat interior o-lineman
  • Has elite quickness and bend for being an IDL and doesn’t lack size either
  • Capable of pulling off a club-rip pass rush move, as he showed at the senior bowl; a club-rip requires a combination of get-off, bend, and raw power and is very hard to block when pulled off
  • Makes up for the lack of play block shed with great get-off and pursuit
  • Didn’t use bull rush enough as an interior pass rusher; has the ability to but relies on his speed and finesse too much
  • The fact he’ll be 24 by draft time lowers the odds that he’ll ever be an elite player
