• Hamilton has received an extraordinary amount of hype, but for reasons that are overvalued by a lot of draft analysts; what he projects to be in the NFL is not worth a high first-round pick
• Size and length are elite which will benefit him in many ways; it gives him elite upside as a run defender for a safety
• Short area quickness is very good; his elite instincts allow him to get to the ball in a hurry
• A combination of size, quickness, and man coverage ability makes him a great option to cover TEs
• Does not have the range to be very good as a single high safety in the NFL
• Is undisciplined in regards to penalties; can be overly aggressive

7 – Rare world-class skill; best in the league and no room for improvement   |   6 – Great-elite skill; one of the best at that given trait but still has some room to improve   |   5 – Very good; above average and has potential to be elite   |   4 – Average; able to suffice but, not ideal long-term   |   3 – Below average; able to suffice at college level   |   2 – Poor; hinders overall play and is a liability to the team   |   1 – Awful; not good enough to play given position at any level above D2 | Note: Consistency plays a large factor.
